You may be wondering– what can I do to make a difference? We know the mid-terms are coming, but frankly, that’s not good enough. We want to be active now! Here’s how COVA Coalition is taking on 2025. We divided the year into two parts because we have important elections this November. Part One is before the June Primaries, when we will focus on battling misinformation with our Truthbombs. We will also strengthen our infrastructure so we are ready for November and next November (and the one after that!)
FEB-APRIL 2025
- Our job is to hold electeds accountable EVERYWHERE. We are no longer playing defense. Our targets are Jen Kiggans (VA Congressional District 2); Del. Anne Tata (HD 99 and Emergency Cmte on Federal Workforce and Funding Reductions); Gov. Youngkin on Trump’s new council of governors.
- Deploy Truthbomb Campaigns: using socials and low tech methods (see playbook)
- Support our ally organizations’ protests and rallies
- Build more community circles and support their leadership; develop our committees
APRIL -JUNE 2025
- Meet with your Delegates and State Senators
- Targeted Voter Registration
- Public events for voter education and high traffic/reverse canvassing (see guide)
